Terms and Conditions
Fronero maintains this page so you can see exactly how the business handles your information, what it expects from you and which cookies the website leaves behind. Fronero reviews the wording here whenever the tools, suppliers or legal duties behind the garden design, landscaping and maintenance work change, so the text you are reading is the version currently in force. Read it at your own pace, and contact the office on +61 7 3086 7421 or at fronero@hotmail.com if any part of it is unclear or if you want a copy sent to you.

What these terms cover
These terms apply whenever Fronero quotes for or carries out garden design, landscaping, maintenance or lawn care work. They sit alongside the written scope you approve before we start, and where the two disagree the signed scope wins.
Quotes and estimates
A quote is a fixed price for the work described in it and holds for sixty days. An estimate is our best guess and can shift if the ground turns out to be harder than it looked, if you add work, or if material prices move sharply. We tell you before we spend anything extra.
Anything buried that we could not see during the site visit, such as old pipes, concrete footings or a forgotten septic tank, is not part of a quoted price. If we hit one, work stops and you get a revised figure to approve.
Bookings and changes
We book build work into a window, usually six to ten weeks out. Rain, supplier delays and access problems can push that window, and we let you know as soon as we know.
- Cancel or move a build with more than seven days notice and you pay nothing
- Inside seven days, you cover any materials already ordered
- Regular maintenance visits need a day's notice, given before 6pm the evening before
If nobody is home and the crew cannot get in, the visit still gets charged, because the slot was held for you.
Payment
Maintenance work is invoiced monthly and due within fourteen days. Build jobs run on a deposit of thirty percent at booking, a progress payment at the halfway point and the balance on completion.
We take bank transfer and card. Card payments through the invoice link carry a small surcharge, shown before you confirm. Overdue accounts sit at twelve percent interest per year after thirty days, though we would rather ring you than send a letter.
Plants and workmanship
Plants we supply and install are covered for twelve months from planting, provided irrigation has been run as instructed and the plant was not damaged by pets, mowers, frost or chemical spray. We replace them free of charge once, and the replanting labour is not charged either.
Hard landscaping we build, including paving, retaining walls and irrigation systems, is covered for five years against defects in our workmanship. That cover does not extend to damage from vehicles, subsidence caused by neighbouring works, or repairs someone else has carried out.
Liability and complaints
We carry public liability insurance and our liability is limited to the value of the work we carried out, except where the law does not allow that limit. Keep gates and pets managed while the crew is on site.
If something has gone wrong, tell us in writing within fourteen days with photos if you have them. We will come back and look at it. If we cannot sort it between us, the matter goes to the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
