Fronero has run out of a South Brisbane workshop since 2007. We started on lawn mowing rounds and grew into full design and build work because clients kept asking us to fix the gardens we were only trimming.
The crew is four on the tools, one estimator and two in the office. Everything from the first sketch to the final mulch goes through the same people, which is why our quotes rarely move once you have signed them.
We buy plants from two growers in the Brisbane Valley and send anything back that arrives root-bound or half dead. It costs us a week sometimes. It saves you a year of watching something struggle.
You can hire us to plan and rebuild a yard from scratch, or to keep one looking sharp on a regular round. Plenty of clients end up doing both.
Survey, drawings, stone, soil and planting under one fixed price. We plan around your aspect, your drainage and the way you actually use the yard, then build it with our own crew.
Weekly or fortnightly visits on a fixed rate. Mowing, edging, hedges, weeding and an irrigation check, with clippings taken away and the same faces turning up each round.
We have dug through the same problem ground since 2007. Reactive clay that swells after rain, blocks that fall two metres across the yard, and old brick footings where the plan said there would be nothing.
That history shows up in how we quote. We allow for the surprises instead of pretending they will not happen and sending you a variation letter a week into the job.

Site visits usually happen within a week. Maintenance rounds can start almost immediately. Design and build work has a six to ten week lead once the drawings are signed, depending on stone supply and the weather.
We cover everything within about 35 kilometres of the CBD, which takes in Ipswich, Redlands and the northern bayside. Further out is possible for design and build work, quoted with travel included up front.
Nothing for maintenance quotes. Design consultations run $390, and that comes off the build price if you go ahead with us. You leave the meeting with a clear idea of scope and cost either way.
Yes. We hold a current QBCC licence for landscaping and retaining wall work, plus public liability cover on every vehicle. Paperwork is available at any time, just ask.
Plenty of people do. We plan the whole thing up front, then build the hardscape in one season and add the planting later. The design already allows for the gap so the second stage does not undo the first.
