Privacy Policy

Fronero maintains this page so you can see exactly how the business handles your information, what it expects from you and which cookies the website leaves behind. Fronero reviews the wording here whenever the tools, suppliers or legal duties behind the garden design, landscaping and maintenance work change, so the text you are reading is the version currently in force. Read it at your own pace, and contact the office on +61 7 3086 7421 or at fronero@hotmail.com if any part of it is unclear or if you want a copy sent to you.

Who we are

Fronero runs garden design, landscaping and garden maintenance out of 275 Grey Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101. In this policy "we" and "us" mean Fronero. You can reach the office on +61 7 3086 7421 or at fronero@hotmail.com if anything here needs explaining.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you contact us from the UK, the EU or another region with its own data law, the General Data Protection Regulation may also apply to what we hold about you.

What we collect

Most of what we hold comes from you directly. When you send an enquiry or book a job, we take down what we need to quote and carry out the work.

  • Your name and the name of anyone else on the booking
  • Phone number and email address
  • The service address and any access notes, such as gate codes or where the dog lives
  • Details of the work you asked about and any photos you send us
  • Payment records and invoices

Our website also picks up basic technical data, things like your browser type and which pages you read. The cookie policy covers that side of things in full.

Why we use it

We use your details to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, schedule crews and invoice for completed work. If you are on a regular maintenance round, we keep your address and access notes on file so the same crew turns up prepared.

We also send the occasional reminder, such as a note that your spring service is due. Tell us to stop and we will take you off the list the same day.

We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to marketers.

Who else sees it

A small number of suppliers and services handle your data on our behalf, and only for the job they were hired to do.

  • Our accounting software provider, which stores invoices and payment records
  • The scheduling tools the office uses to plan rounds
  • Plant nurseries and stone suppliers, but only when a delivery needs your address

If a court or a government agency requires the information by law, we hand over what is asked for and tell you unless we are legally barred from doing so.

How long we keep it

Quotes that do not turn into work are deleted after twelve months. Job records, including invoices, stay on file for seven years because Australian tax law requires it. Enquiry emails sit in the office inbox until the job is done, then get filed or cleared.

Our booking system is password protected and access is limited to the four office and supervisory staff who need it. Card details are never stored on our systems.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything wrong, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. There is no charge for a straightforward request and we answer within thirty days.

Send the request to fronero@hotmail.com with enough detail for us to find your record, such as the service address. If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
